DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

We often rush through life without stopping to ask what our time is really for. In this sermon, we pause to reflect on the meaning of our time—where it comes from, what it is meant for, and how understanding it can shape the way we live.

1. Time is a gift from God. What best describes how you have been treating that gift lately: gratitude, anxiety, control, or waste?

2. As Christians, we should have a radically different approach towards the use of our time. What would you do differently with your time to gain a heart of wisdom?

3. Review and evaluate with each other your spiritual progress in 2025 using the Brighton Journey. What additional small steps would you want to take along the Journey this year?

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

We live in a world that values speed and instant results, yet God works on His perfect timetable. This message explores why His timing often differs from ours and why it is always better.

1. Think of something you said or did. How did the outcome change when it was said or done at the right time versus the wrong time?

2. Recall a time when something felt like bad or wrong timing, but in hindsight turned out to be good or even better. What did that experience teach you about God’s timing?

 3. What aspects of your life now are inconsistent with the belief that we have all eternity? What will you do differently if you act on that belief?

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Time is precious, so we naturally want to maximise it. But how can we do that while juggling multiple responsibilities with limited time? In this message, we will explore timeless biblical principles to help us use our time wisely and truly have the time of our lives.

1. In what ways might you be careless or unwise with your time at school, work, or leisure? What negative consequences have you experience because of it?

2. God’s will has been revealed in his Word. What instructions or commands in the Bible do you need to follow more closely to make better use of your time?

3. How much influence does the Holy Spirit currently have over your thoughts, words, and actions? What practical steps can you take to allow the Spirit to guide your life more fully?
